Live classical music is back in Questa, this coming Saturday, at La Sala.
Take this coming Saturday’s lunchtime to enjoy the music of Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla – his “Summer in Buenos Aires” (from his version of the Four Seasons); an early work by Mozart (K. 254); and a lush romantic 3-movement piece by Spanish composer Joaquin Turina.
The only caveat is to come early for a seat… the little yellow room only seats 20.
(or go to Taos the next day and hear us play at the much larger venue – 1st Presbyterian Church, next to Kit Carson Park, at 1:30 pm)
WHEN: Saturday, August 31 at noon
and a repeat performance Sunday, Sept. 1 at 1:30 pm in Taos, at the First Presbyterian Church
WHERE: La Sala Questa* yellow room (middle door entry), at 2331 Hwy 522
WHO: Trio Quetave, with Andrea Gore on violin, Rebecca Caron on cello, Martha Shepp on piano
WHY: Enjoy live music from the long history of this art form. Bring a bag lunch, relax!
